Abstract

One indicator of absolute high value in developing community health development index is the basic immunization coverage in an area. However, data of several regions in Indonesia disclose the immunization coverage is still below the national standard. Many studies showed that immunization status are influenced by the order of children in the family, living in rural areas, socioeconomic status, number of family members, discomfort in the process of vaccination and religious reasons.The purpose of this study is to determine the correlation between health  professional’s support and basic immunization status in the Tanjungpura village. Cross sectional research was conducted in January-October 2016, with the respondents were mothers of infant 1-2 years old and met the inclusion criteria.Conclusion: there is no relationship between health professional’s support and basic immunization status of infant 1-2 years in Tanjungpura village. It is expected for further research using a case-control design.
