Abstract

Deprivation is a way of restricting people from being able to act freely. There are still families who do the deprivation of mental patients. The purpose of the study to explain the picture of family behavior about the deprivation of patients mental disorders in Bojonegoro Regency in 2017               The design of this study is descriptive, with the entire family population who are deprived of one family member who is mentalli ill in Bojonegoro Regency in 2017, which amounted to 10 respondents who also become a sample. Data collection using questionnaires and observations. Data analysis strarts from editing, coding, scoring, tabulating and is presented in tabular form.               The results obtained show  more than a half respondents have sufficient knowledge (60%), more than half of respondents had a negative attitudes (60%), more than half of respondents have practice in meeting the needs of the less (70%).            The conclusion of this study is the behavior of respondents about the deprivation of the patients mental disorders are still less feasible and in humane. It is advisable for the respondent to increase the compassion and attention patient that the patient is entitled to the proper treatment of human being.
