Abstract

ABSTRACTMaternal  Mortality   Rate   (MMR)  and  Infant Mortality   Rate   (!MR) are  the first indicators  in determining  maternal and infant health status,  because  it is a reflection  of the current   health  status   of  mothers   and  babies. The research   objective is  to  implement Continuous Midwifery  Care in Mrs. N during pregnancy  until the puerperium.This Final Project Report is in the form of case studies using a midwifery management approach  and is documented  in the form of SOAP.  The subjects of this study were G2PlAO pregnant  women 29-30 weeks of gestational physiology followed  by childbirth, postpartum, newborn babies until the mother could decide on the Out of Planning method.The results of the study found that pregnancy  care provided was focused on the sign of pregnancy   and  the  end  result  of pregnancy   was physiological.  At childbirth  care  in  the Maternity Post Sumbertlaseh  Village on 19-04-2018, hours: 03.55 WIB, babies born spontaneously,  crying strongly,  skin color redness, active movement, good  muscle tone, sex: male,  BB I PB:  3100 gram I 49 cm.  Postpartum  midwifery care  has  been  carried  out  in accordance with the postnatal period  of service,  which is done 4 times of study (6 hours post partum  during  the  Village Maternity  Post and  3 home  visits). Newborn midwifery  care  is carried  out  immediately  after  the  baby  is  born  which  is  carried  out  during  the  Village Maternity  Post and 3 home visits are carried out.  Postpartum  contraceptive  care midwifery care was carried  out at 40 days post  partum,  with maternal  outcomes  using  natural  birth control (interrupted intercourse)  and planning  to use injectable birth control 3 months when the baby was 3 months old.The conclusion  is expected that health workers play an active role in providing quality obstetric services  to mothers from  pregnancy  to physiological and pathological birth control according  to the standards  of midwifery services  so as to reduce the increase  in MMR and!MR. Keyword :  Midwifery   care pregnancy,   parturition,   neonatal,  postpartum, contraceptive services.
